First off, thanks for reading this — we realize most people don’t, and you probably care, so we have made these as easy to read as we can.

ADVERTISING IDENTIFIER (IDFA)

When you first launch QuakeRadar, we may ask for permission to use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA). This identifier helps us show you ads that are more relevant to your interests. We believe it’s important for you to understand how and why this data is used.

QuakeRadar does not collect any data that can be used to identify or contact a specific individual. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers. The advertising identifier is only used to improve the relevance of the ads you may see while using QuakeRadar. It is never linked to your name, photos, or any personal content on your device.

Protecting your privacy is important to us.

LOCATION DATA

QuakeRadar uses your device’s approximate location to provide nearby earthquake alerts. Your location is used only for this purpose and is stored securely. We do not share your location with third parties.

You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, but doing so may limit app functionality.

PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

We use push notifications to alert you about nearby earthquakes based on your preferences. You can control notification settings in your device’s system settings or within the app.

We do not send promotional push notifications or collect personal data through them.

APP ANALYTICS

We use App Store Connect and RevenueCat to improve the app. Each provides us with anonymized and generic usage and or transaction data that we use to inform our product decisions and understand how people are using QuakeRadar.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
